Unusual hire – entirely through Skype

A first for me…my candidate was hired without ever having a personal meeting with my client.  This is how it happened:

During the course of a search, I learned of a candidate that would be relocating to my client’s town.  I made the introduction, and they had an initial meeting using Skype.

That interview went well, and there were 2 subsequent Skype meetings with other members of the team.

And then….

An offer was extended – and accepted!  She starts in 2 weeks.

Recruiting is never this simple!
