New trend?

For the second time this month, I received a “thank you” note…just for talking to a candidate about a position. One of the candidates was excited that I was presenting him for a new career opportunity; the other candidate was not a good fit for the opportunity we discussed, and her note was just for taking the time to speak with her!

Are we in a new age of etiquette?
