Direct Marketing Industry Involvement

I probably don’t do enough to give back to the industry that has served me so well.

But I have participated for the past several years as a Resume Reviewer for the AFP Young Professionals resume review evening.

Last night Victoria Crispo of Idealist kicked off the evening with some tips on job hunting:

It was followed by a lively exchange of questions. Then the actual resume reviewing began.

I was assigned 3 young professionals, and spent about 20 minutes with each one. Reviewing resumes is second nature for me, but I find that even basic insights are so appreciated by these job seekers who are still at the beginning of their careers. It’s always a worthwhile evening.
