Dark fact

I have just learned that CareerBuilder administered a study to more than 2,000 employers…

And found that “27% of bosses have a current direct report that they would like to see leave their company”.

In my world, we are generally focused on retention, and even concerned about counter-offers. I have, on 2 occasions, had employers let me know – off the record – that they had an employee that they would actually like to see me recruit away.

Still, the 27% figure surprised me.
