Boston bound….

As an executive recruiter with a national clientele, I must confess…I rarely get out from behind my desk.

Most of my time is spent communicating with clients, candidates and prospects online, or on the phone.  For the most part, I place candidates that I have never personally met with clients I have never personally met.

But every now and then, I get out and join the living.  I will do that later this week with a trip to Boston.  Many people in the Crandall network will be attending the NEMOA Conference, and it seemed as good a time as any for me to make some face to face connections.  The last time I did this (in conjunction with this particular conference) was 5 years ago.  I had scheduled several days of great meetings, and I really can’t tell you why it’s taken me so long to repeat the experience.

So look out Boston, I am excited about the opportunity to visit your beautiful city and meet some great folks that I have been talking to and/or emailing.  This digital age is great, but there’s nothing like a personal connection.
