DMFA Event in NYC

Last night’s DMFA event at NYC bar P.S. 450 was a great success.  Direct marketing fundraisers from NY and beyond showed up to network and become acquainted.  I met people from nonprofits, and from the agencies that serve them.  I met some great people from Concern Worldwide, a humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.  They invited me to join them at an upcoming event, and I will be delighted to support this worthy cause. I met marketers from other worthy causes as well, and I am so pleased to have expanded my network of direct marketing fundraising professionals.

I also learned that the DMFA has scholarship funds available to enable fundraisers to attend conferences or other educational opportunities.  We talked about how Crandall Associates can help spread the word, to make more nonprofit fundraisers aware of this!

All in all, a very worthwhile evening.
