5 Top Ways to Land on Recruiters’ Radar

According to ExecuNet, a website for job, resume and career management, here are the top 5 ways to get onto a recruiters’ radar:

  1. Become connected to peers and industry influencers who will refer you.
  2. Offer to be a referral resource for them in exchange for their help.
  3. Offer to be a source about information related to your industry.
  4. Maximize your online resumes and profiles with keywords and industry-specific buzzwords, so it will come up in online searches.
  5. Attend industry events and seminars.

I would add…speak at industry events, and write for trade blogs, newsletters and journals.  We are always looking for the movers and shakers who are active participants in the industry.
